Here is a detailed user guide to use PassFab 4WinKey. You'll find full solutions to remove, reset Windows local admin or guest password, domain password, reset Microsoft password, remove Windows account, create new Windows account with CD, DVD or USB flash drive within minutes.
Part 1: Create Windows Password Reset Disk
PassFab 4WinKey enables you to create a Windows password reset disk with CD, DVD or USB flash drive. You can follow the below instructions to know how to do that.
Step 1. Download, install and launch PassFab 4WinKey from another accessible PC or Mac, not your locked computer. You will see its main interface.
Step 2. Select a boot media (CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive). Here we will choose USB as an example. Click "Next" button and go ahead.
Step 3. The software will prompt that your USB, CD or DVD will be formatted and all data will be lost in it. Click "Next" and continue.
Step 4. This software will start to burn a bootable disk. Please wait for a few seconds.
After a while, your CD, DVD or USB flash drive will be burned successfully. Now you can follow the brief user guide on the software screen and use this CD, DVD or USB flash drive to unlock your locked computer.
Part 2: Boot Windows System from CD/DVD/USB
In this part, you have to enable your locked computer to boot from the disk that you just created on another computer.
Step 1. Insert the bootable USB, CD or DVD to the password locked Windows laptop or desktop.
Step 2: Restart the computer and press "F12" or "ESC" on the keyboard to enter Boot menu.
Note: The key to enter Boot menu might be different on different motherboards. Here I gather the common keys on popular computer brands. Common keys to enter Boot menu are F12 or ESC. For other manufacturers, please refer to the boot keys commonly-used by the below brands.

Step 3. When you enter the Boot menu successfully, identify and find out your inserted disk from the USB/DVD/CD name. Using the arrow keys to highlight it and press Enter to select boot device. Then save and exit Boot menu.
Note: If your computer is running UEFI, please select "UEFI: [USB/CD/DVD Name]" as the first boot option.

Part 3. Reset/Remove/Delete/Create Windows Account Login Password
After exiting BIOS settings, your computer will restart again. Then you need to choose the Windows system that you want to reset or remove the password and account.
In the next screen, you will see PassFab 4WinKey interface, which contains the features that this program offers:
- Remove Account Password: Remove Windows administrator or guest, local or domain password.
- Reset Account Password: Reset Windows local admin password, guest password or domain password, reset Microsoft password.
- Delete Windows Account: Delete Windows account except local built-in account and Microsoft account.
- Create A New Account: Create a Windows administrator or domain account.
Option 1. How to Remove Account Password
Step 1. In this option, please select the account that you would like to remove the password and then tick "Next" button to proceed.
Step 2. After a moment, your Windows login password will be removed successfully. Click "Reboot" to restart your computer and remove the boot disk from it.
Option 2. How to Reset Account Password
Step 1. In this option, please select a local guest account, administrator account or Microsoft account. Enter the new password in the text box and then click "Next" button to proceed.
Step 2. Once the new password is reset successfully, click "Reboot" button to restart your computer and remove the boot disk. Now you can log into Windows system with the new password.
Option 3. How to Delete Windows Account
Step 1. In this option, please select a user account that you want to remove and click "Next".
Step 2. Once the selected Windows account has been removed successfully, click "Reboot" to restart your PC, remove the boot disk and login Windows system with other accounts.
Option 4. How to Create A New Account
Step 1. In this option, please enter the new account user name and password, and then click "Create" button.
Step 2. Once the account has been created, click "Reboot" to restart your computer. Remove the bootable disk and login Windows system with the new account.
